Internships and Fellowships
TRAVEL FELLOWSHIP DEADLINE EXTENDED
The Council for the Advancement of Science Writing now has funds to underwrite several additional traveling fellowships to cover the cost of attending the 2001 New Horizons in Science Briefing for Journalists in Tempe, Arizona. As such, the deadline for applications has been extended.
The 2001 briefing runs from Sunday, November 4 through Noon, Thursday, November 8. It will bring together top-rank scientists and leading science writers for an in-depth look at seminal developments in science, medicine and technology that are likely to make news in the coming months. The fellowships are intended primarily for aspiring science writers who would otherwise be unable to attend.
