Environmental Journalism On Line is a resource of the Knight Center for Environmental Journalism at Michigan State University, a program founded in 1994 to train students and journalists to research, report and write about environmental issues.

Who we are

PA-online is the result of 2003 Susana Guzman's independent study, a master's degree student of Journalism and Graduate Assistant at the Knight Center. PA-online is one of the resources offered to train students and journalists to cover environmental issues. The Knight Center is located at Michigan State University (MSU) campus in one of the eight states that surrounds the Great Lakes, considered the largest fresh water depository in the world.

Jim Detjen, a former editor for The Philadelphia Inquirer is the chair of the Knight Center, the nation's only endowed chair in environmental journalism. The Associate Director is Dave Puolson, an outstanding environmental journalist.

Objetive:

The objective of this page is to offer a refence site for journalists who cover environmental issues in Mexico. PA-online is also disegned to help environmental journalists abroad interested on Mexican environmental issues. This page is a basic reference tool, a starting point for journalistic jobs. In this page, a selected sites have been compiled to help you out in your search through the Web. The criteria selected include quality and identification of the institution or people behind the web pages.
